HIRING NOW: MEDICAL BILLING ASSISTANT

TREASURE STATE ORTHOTIC AND PROSTHETIC CLINIC A busy Orthotic and Prosthetic Clinic is seeking a qualified medical billing assistant. Responsibilities include generating revenue by submitting clean claims, patient payment arrangements and collecting account balances, monitoring and pursuing delinquent accounts. Insurance verification for coverage, requesting preauthorization(s) as needed, and following up on unpaid claims will be daily tasks. Health insurance billing experience would be beneficial. A sound foundation in Medicare/Medicaid patient benefit eligibility and coverage necessary. Good organizational skills, accuracy with numbers, and excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time in office 8 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday
